It shows up when the first scoring race finishes. Practice and test races don't count.
Every finished race gives points based on its category and your place among the finishers: first gets the maximum and last never less than 20%. Races with few boats are worth less.
Maximums: coastal 1,000, cruiser 2,000, offshore 3,000, ocean 5,000.
Your season is your best 3 ocean, 5 offshore, 8 cruiser and 10 coastal races of the last 12 months. Practice and test races don't count, nor do races you retire from.
